Well organised evening! Excellent DJ, lovely buffet (not just your normal cocktail sausages and sausage rolls, but salmon, Greek salad to name a few). Lovely bar staff and just an excellent evening all round! Would def go again!

We had our smartline Xmas party here Friday night. And what a great night it was, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Came here for our Christmas do, was a great atmosphere and great music. Would 100% recommend.

Highly recommend a night out at The Old Regent. I recently attended one of their Christmas party nights with my work colleagues and the atmosphere, food and music was superb. The venue is lovely and the staff cannot do enough for you. Thank you all for such a wonderful evening, we will definitely be returning!

I have had the pleasure of leading wedding ceremonies and vow renewals at The Old Regent Ballroom and it is always a joy.

The staff truly go above and beyond to look after the couple and their guests, with such warmth and care. Their attention to detail really shows and it creates such a calm and welcoming atmosphere.

From my perspective as a Celebrant, I always feel supported. They make sure everything is in place, check in with me beforehand, and are present throughout to ensure the ceremony flows just as it should.

The venue itself is stunning. There are two beautiful function rooms, each with their own unique charm. But more than that, it is the feeling you get when you walk in. It just has that something special.

Had an amazing afternoon, food was absolutely gorgeous and the entertainment was phenomenal. Calum was out of this world, we were talking about how amazing his voice is for the rest of the day!!!…. Really good song list too

Lovely venue suitable for all forms of celebration. We recently held a charity night there and would like to thank all of the staff for their friendly manner and exceptional service

My husband and a friend hosted a charity night here on Saturday and we have had so many compliments on the venue, it is stunning!! We all had such a great night and I'm already looking forward to my next night out here in a couple of months time!

The Old Regent was a brilliant night out and staff were incredibly friendly. The room looked stunning and no other decorations were needed. We had an amazing night, we will be back and would definitely recommend this venue to everyone.

We had our Christmas staff do here on a party night. Everyone had a great time. The booking process was easy as was the communciation when we wanted to add extra people. A great night!

Such a great evening, great music, the singer was great, lovely place to go for a Christmas party, food and all the staff were so friendly and helpful we will definitely be back.

My first time to The Regent - wow!
Blown away by the decor, fantastic! Foliage everywhere, astro areas, incredible cocktail bar was my favorite! So cool!
Piano keys all around the main bar, table lights giving pools of light and a bit of a Gatsby theme.
Dance floor area was tiered - which reminded me of TOTS, where you could look around and see all the party people.
Staff were really friendly and the Door Staff excellent too.
The 'Where House Lives' event was superb, great sound system too. Highly recommend this venue! Great drinks prices, Gin n Tonic £4.75 very reasonable! Then there's the upstairs function room, equally impressive!

Beautiful venue for my 50th birthday party, very affordable, all my guests were impressed with venue and food. Bar staff great. Overall a perfect setting for any occasion. Very well organised, and thankyou for a perfect evening.

Fantastic night. Was Greace vs Dirty Dancing musical.
Wonderfully songs sung. Audience participation was a fun spot. People were on the dance floor, strutting their stuff. Great atmosphere and evening enjoyed by everyone

Nice venue and a fun night out at the 30-up event

We knew the lower room was where we wanted our UK wedding reception following an overseas wedding. We had about 160 in attendance and everyone was in awe just how pretty this place is.
Our friend Ginge was delighted to perform his swing tribute act in such a setting and the DJ was delighted to perform to a packed Dancefloor all night long. Everyone commented on how easy it was to watch us dance from another level so everyone could see and there was suffice space for the photobooth too (tho I would put them In the opposite corner as people didn’t see them)
The food was enjoyed by all and we loved the chance to have some prepared cocktails and a prosecco wall available for guests upon available - set a lovely scene. Cake table prominent and on the way out a place to put our thank yous and takeaway cake.
Was also awesome we could pick everything up Monday morning vs having to run around Saturday night. So helpful and reassuring..
a lot of locals discovering this place for the first time so the venue has defiantly earned some new regulars for their event evenings. Mandie and Team (security at door just awesome and friendly) really great - Thank you so much for making our vision come to light 🩷

My husband and I discovered it by chance last year and knew it was the perfect setting for our wedding celebration.
Thank you Mandie and staff for giving us our dream wedding. We could of danced all night under all those twinkling lights.

Oh what a night! The most glorious wedding day and evening of Stacie and Layla White. The Old Regent at it’s very best. Precious memories were made forever!

A piano playing friend from the Netherlands did a brief UK tour, playing the music of Frank Zappa (plus a few of his own compositions). Rather than set up his own equipment, he was able to make use of the in-house piano in the foyer and a good time was had by all. Phil Jupitus even popped in to say "Hi". Good friendly atmosphere, with helpful staff.

Held our wedding ceremony and reception at the regent the venue was fantastic the staff are all lovely and can’t do enough to help make your big day as special as you Imagined it

The owners and staff at the old regent work so hard to make your event enjoyable. The food is prepared on site and is excellent quality. We had the best time at our family wedding and it was all down to Frank, Shawn, Mandy and their staff. Thank you for your attentive service.

My husband celebrated his 60th Birthday at the Ballroom on Saturday and I cannot express how fantastic this venue is, from the moment you walk in it gives you the wow factor. Mandie made sure everything run smoothly and was a pleasure to deal with, the food was excellent and the bar staff were amazing and worked really hard, a big thank you to everyone for making Richards Birthday one to remember. If you are looking for a venue then do not hesitate to book this amazing place.
